ranger/ele for pve
ok i dunno if this would work im making a ranger/ele but i dunno what to do with the ele part...ill probably put a fair bit into expertise and marksmanship then the rest in wilderness survival and fire magic. would these skills give me enuff fire power and ability to avoid damage etc pretty much keep me alive lol...
conjure flame
mark of rodgart
barrage
throw dirt
troll ungent
fav winds
debilitating shot
hunters shot
cast conjure flame before going into fight with fav winds. mark of rodgart and the barrage would this work or would this be bad because barrage removes preps...should i replace it with oath shot or something else...sorry if i seem noobish first time ive played as a ranger

Well, what's your prep, cause fav winds is a spirit.
So what prep should barrage remove then...
I never tried the mark of rodgart and conjure flame, it's a pretty good idea.
I think you shouldn't replace barrage, cause barrage and mark or rodgart is what makes your build so strong, without barrage you won't have the same effect.
*Here is a discription of Fav Winds, as you can see it's not a prep:
Nature Ritual
Create a level 1-8 Spirit. For creatures within its range, arrows move twice as fast as normal and strike for +6 damage. This Spirit dies after 30-126 seconds.

conjure flame (or other element)
barrage
dual shot
favorable winds
troll ungent (spell right?)
lightning reflexes
whirling defense
res sig
fire magic=10
expertise=10
wilderness=2 or 3 can't remember
marksmanship=16
if your gonna solo (its possible in some areas) with that build, bring predatory season

You can use Fevered Dreams [E] though, also a memserspel. Somebody made a ranger build with it.

As for the origional build posted, it looks good. If it were me though, I would drop debilitating shot, as I see it to be more useful in PvP. Conjure flame does work with barrage however since it is an enchantment and not a prep. Mark of Rogdort could work well, but it would cost a lot of energy and would only effect one target. I suggest throwing in an evasive move like whirling defenses instead.

Rodgort costs waaaayy too much. Favorable winds not only takes way to damn long to cast, but it works for the bad guys too. I dont need their arrows moving faster and dealing +6 to me. If you want speed and damage RTW, then dont take barrage. If you must use Rodgorts bring Wager to recover energy. If you want to spread poison, be a necro and use Virulence (E). 13 seconds of 3 different conditions all at once on a whole group, if you get them adjacent to eachother. Hell you can simply cripple one enemy, or blind, Virulence and youve got 4 conditions on that enemy and 3 on all his friends. Perfect for Victory is Mine warriors. Not that tanks use that but that would be amazing if they did. Infinite energy, and health for tanks no monk required.
